William and Mary
This regal pair of Siamese (Seal point & Chocolate Point) came in to Battersea due to the ill health of their elderly owner.

They have led rather sheltered lives and were somewhat shocked at their change of circumstances, so we have given them their own room to relax in. William is far braver than his half-sister Mary, and will try to have all the attention and strokes for himself, which is why there should be a minimum of two people in their next home, so that Mary can get a look-in.
They are extremely noisy, as you would expect, and potential owners should take their neighbours into consideration before thinking about rehoming them.
They will need a secure, safe garden, roof terrace or balcony and have experience of Siamese or of similarly vocally demanding and attention-seeking breeds who should not be left on their own for a long working day.
As they have never lived with children, an adult household would be ideal. William has a heart condition and prospective owners will need to speak to a Battersea vet prior to rehoming.

Holly
Holly is a beautiful female tortoiseshell who, unfortunately, came to The Mayhew after her owner sadly passed away.

Although she has reached the ripe age of 15 years, Holly is in good physical health. As a more mature lady, Holly would prefer a quiet home, perhaps with retired owners. She would be happy to live with older teenagers but not young children, dogs or other cats.
Holly is a very affectionate cat who loves tickles under her chin and will happily sit on your lap for some attention. Holly would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a quiet lap cat for company.

Tigger
Tigger is a very friendly 4-year-old tabby-and-white male, who was found abandoned and brought to The Mayhew. Tigger is blind in his left eye, but this certainly does not stop him getting about or getting to his food dish!

He is a gentle, energetic cat who loves to be tickled behind his ears, and he would make an affectionate companion to the right owner.

Christine
Christine is an adorable eight-year-old black and white female who came to The Mayhew as a stray. On arrival Christine was in a poor condition and was incredibly underweight, but has always remained confident, friendly and full of life.

Christine is a very warm, loving and extremely vocal feline who yearns for attention and has become a bit of a favourite here at The Mayhew. She unfortunately has a hyperactive thyroid, which will need medication and regular blood tests.
Christine also has a very sensitive stomach, which has improved a lot since she arrived, but she will need to go on a sensitivity diet to control it. All medication and specialist food can be obtained here at The Mayhew at cost price.
Christine would suit anyone who can offer her the love and attention she needs and in return will make a perfect, loving companion.

Samuel
Samuel - you’ve got to love him. With his runny eyes and sniffly nose, not to mention the occasional bout of feline acne, you would think that he might get a touch of Persian petulance every now and again. Not a bit of it, the only grumpy thing about him is the look on his face and he can’t help that, as he is, after all, a proper Persian.

He is a loving, chatty, happy-go-lucky fellow who requires a special home where he will be cared for and loved for the rest of his life, both in sickness and in health. In return, you will have an adorable little friend who will follow you round, sit on your lap and tell you his cat tales while you brush his hair.
Samuel will need to be the only cat in his new home, which must provide a stress-free environment for him with no young children or dogs. It should be a quiet home in a low cat density environment, preferably outside London, with his own garden or roof terrace.
His new owners must be financially secure, as there will be ongoing veterinary bills and they must be committed to providing daily eye treatment for their little soldier.
