Tipsy
Tipsy is a ginger and white 3 year old male. One-eyed cats….they are like London buses round here at the moment. Tipsy lost his left eye just a couple of weeks before he was brought in to Battersea, so the combination of a strange environment and having to get used to his visual impairment has left him feeling a little bit wary and strange.

He just likes to sit quietly on his shelf and think his thoughts. He is a good-natured boy who is an adventurer when he’s out and about and a purry lap cat when he is in the house. He is also particularly susceptible to a good sniff of catnip.
Tipsy can live with children aged 10 years old + and must have access to a garden once he is settled. He should be the only cat in his new household.

Petal is a 1-2 year old tabby and white female in need of a stable and secure home, as she has had a most unsettling time during the last couple of months. She is not too happy in her pen at the moment, but in her last home, she was a happy and sociable little lap cat, even though her owner only had her for a month.

Petal should live in an experienced, mature, home with people who are not anticipating any major lifestyle changes. She can get somewhat stressed and anxious at times, so would not be suitable to live with children either now or in the future. She would be quite happy to be left for a working day as long as she has garden access once settled.

Portly Pegasus looks (and sounds) more like a Siamese cross Persian than a mythological winged horse. This handsome 3 year old fellow shows very little sign of his Persian parent, but that’s what it says on the Pet Passport that he needed when he was brought over from Singapore.

Pegasus has the following rehoming requirements, he needs experienced owners of Oriental breeds. He must live with people who enjoy having an extremely vocal cat.
Neighbours may have to be considered; therefore he should live in a house rather than a flat. Having stairs would also be beneficial for his weight loss programme.
He must live out of London or go to people with a very secure garden and should not be left for a working day; he is very sociable and likes being with people. He can live with children aged 8 years old +.

Princess is blue tortoiseshell persian female aged 10 years +. Princess is a fab old girl; a real old-fashioned trooper who was apparently found wandering in a Kentish country lane. She has had a lengthy bout of cat flu since her arrival in Battersea, but she is much better now, although her new owners are going to have to bathe her eyes on a regular basis.

However, this should not prove to be too much of a problem as Princess adores to be made a fuss of. Stroking, grooming, eye-bathing, tickling, lap-sitting, kissing and cuddling are all an essential part of this exceptionally sociable cat’s daily routine.
Princess should go to experienced owners who are aware of a Persian cat ’s grooming requirements. She would suit a mature household where her people are around for most of the day. As she gets jealous if other cats are given any attention, she must be the only cat in her new home.
If you could provide Princess with a soft velvet cushion and maximum amounts of attention and tender loving care, please contact us today. Prospective owners will need to speak to a Battersea vet about her eyes.

This is Bessie, she is a black and white female who is a large friendly female of about 7-9 years. She would like a home preferably with no other cats or dogs.
Lottie
Meet Lottie, she is a tortoiseshell female, we think she is aged between 8-10 years old. She is a very friendly, small cat but has a thyroid problem and is on medication. But please give her a chance of a homely life and not leave her here at the sanctuary. Nice it may be, but its not home!
Jessie
Jessie is a black and white domestic short-haired young adult female. Jessie was a stray cat, her finder was unable to keep her due to a problem with their resident cat. Jessie is a confident, friendly young cat. She should make herself at home in most situations and will make an excellent family pet.
Holly
Holly is a tortoiseshell and white domestic short-haired young adult female. Holly was taken to the emergency vets by the RSPCA as she had a pelvic injury. As the RSPCA were unable to help, she was handed over to WRCR for treatment and rehoming. Holly’s owners were untraceable, despite an extensive search.
She is looking for a new loving home, but Holly will not be suitable with children. Holly does not get along with other cats and must be rehomed as an “only” cat.
