Louise – 10 month old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat
Louise is a beautiful young female cat. We estimate her age to be around 10 months old. She was picked up by an Inspector when a member of the public thought she was injured. As it turned out she was fine, we think she was just really frightened and was hiding in a bush.

Louise has now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped ready for moving into her new home. She is a lovely all round cat. She loves a fuss and is often found winding herself around her fosterers legs. She is ok with other cats too so we feel she would adapt into most homes.

*Update from foster family*
Louise just keeps on playing and we think she has energiser batterys in her! Her favorite toy is a ball, any ball it does not matter, which she will chase for ages. At 3 oclock in the morning it you can hear it banging on the skirting board in the kitchen and hall way. First thing in the morning we have to find them all from behind sofas, under tv’s, in shoes and anywhere else she has manged to get them. She still prefers kitten food but will eat some adult food when the others are not looking.

Mindy is a sweet little black and white female cat. She is approximately 3 years old and was collected as a stray from Walsall with her two 6 week old kittens. They are all doing really well and now Mindy has been spayed she is all ready and set for her new home. She is a friendly cat with people and other cats. She can be rehomed alone or with other cats.

*Update from foster family*
Mindy is just a big softy, she and Louise are just great together they chase one another up and down the stairs and sound like two elephants with clogs on. Once Mindy has eaten and had her play time she tends to get in her bed on the window ledge or on the dining chairs and has 40 winks.

Ant and Princess are about 3 years old and are both Balck and White. This is Ant, he is very friendly and loves to be cuddled and tickled under his chin. He rolls over for his tummy to be tickled and loves to be groomed all over.
(Ant)
And this is the beautiful Princess who loves to be brushed and groomed. These cats can be rehomed together or separately as they are fine together, but seem equally ok if not together. Ant does seem to flourish when not around her, as she obviously is the more dominant of the two.

Bob – 9-12 month old male Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat
Bob is a really friendly little black and white cat, roughly 9 months to 1 year old. He was taken into a vet with a leg injury, possibly from a road traffic accident. He is completely over his injury and is now looking for a new loving home to settle into. He is very thin at the moment, but steadily gaining some weight. Because of this we assume Bob has been made to live rough. We really want Bob to have a family to show him what it is to be loved. He has been neutered and has already started his course of vaccines.

Bob is really friendly with people and is young enough to learn how to live with other types of animals. All he needs is love and comfort, and he’ll be just fine.

*Update* Bob is getting on really well with housemate Barbara, they would make a lovely pair for someone that wants a pair of cats that can keep each other company.

Salem is a fun-filled 5 year old male Black cat who is looking for a new home to rest his paws. Salem has come into care from the vets. He was picked up by a member of the public after they found him in the road after being hit by a car. It transpires that he has a fractured pelvis, thankfully it does not require surgery. The vet worked his magic with him and he is now fit and healthy and ready to go to a new home.

He is a really fussy and loveable cat who will end up the apple of some lucky persons eye. When the fosterers go to fuss him he purs his little head off and just wants to be loved and give you some loving in return!

Salem is being rehomed as a house cat. He will be a very happy house cat, if he has a lap to sit on and get some fuss he is in kitty heaven!

Barbara is a stunningly beautiful 1 year old tabby cat and white cat. She came into care as the people caring for her did not want to keep her on any longer. She found them as a stray so we don’t know much of her history other than the basics. What we do know about Barbara is that she is a fantastic cat who is friendly with people, cats and dogs.

*Update from foster family*
We have only had Barbara a few weeks but from her first day she settled right in with no problems. She gets on well with our cats and is not afraid to put the dog in her place if she thinks she needs to, but they do get on well. Barbara is very good at communicating when she wants something and will let you know exactly what it is she wants. She certainly loves her food (and the dog’s when the dog has chicken or mince!) and again will let you know when she wants feeding. She likes to sit on the windowsill and see what’s going on outside and also likes to sunbathe. Barbara only has one problem and that is she does not like travelling and often loses her dinner on any vets trips. However this does not seem to bother her in the slightest as when you get home she is keen to fill her tummy again. When it comes to fuss Barbara rarely comes to you but if you go to her and give her a fuss she enjoys it and may even talk to you.

Barbara is a versatile cat and can be rehomed into most family environments. She is getting very attached to her house mate Bob whose details you can also see on here. they would make a lovely pair if someone is looking to take two cats on to keep each other company.

Mona is a pretty little 8 year old Black cat who would love to find a home soon. She was picked up from a garden as a member of the public thought she was ill. She was taken to a vet where she stayed for the next two weeks. There were no health problems found with her. She accidentally ended up in RSPCA care when a volunteer popped into the vets for something and were asked if they could take Mona, the vets didn’t want her there any longer and she was due to be put to sleep. We took her in and she has proved to be a real character! She dislikes other cats and appears to be used to living outdoors. Although she is not feral, she is only used to a limited amount of contact for fuss etc. She will certainly let you know verbally when she has had enough, hence the name Mona!

We would like to find a home for Mona on a small holding or similar set up, where she will be regularly fed and given any veterinary treatment she may require, but is otherwise left to her own devices outdoors. Mona doesn’t ask for a lot in return for the life we saved for her, just food and somewhere to sleep for the night. If you can help Mona then please get in touch.

*Update from foster family*
Mona is now getting better and I can stroke her 6 or 7 times before she grizzles. She tends to sleep most of the day in the computer room so maybe she has had access to an office where she slept. She still grizzles at other foster cats, but tends to do it more if one of them is in her way or if Louise is having one of her mad half hours. Really, she is no trouble at all once she had settled in.

Bruce is a handsome 2 year old Black cat who is looking for his forever home. Bruce is a sad tale. He was found dumped in a cat carrier on one of my rabbit fosterers doorstep. There was no note, just Bruce. He was taken to the vets and checked over. They said he is in good health and estimated him to be about 2 years old. He has been neutered and his vaccines are started and hopefully he will find a forever home soon. Poor Bruce must be very confused about whats happened to him. He seems to be ok with other cats, he is just a bit withdrawn and sad at the moment. We hope a family can come forward to give Bruce what he needs, which at the moment is love and stability.

We have discovered that Bruce has a real affection for children. At the moment he is avoiding adults but will come out and let children handle him and pick him up and fuss him. We feel Bruce will regain his trust in older people in time, but due to his fondness of children, he needs to be in a home with kids over the age of 5.

*Update from foster family*
In the last few weeks he has really come around. He is still a very dominat cat, but now is very trusting of us, and we can now pick him up and give him a fuss. He has progressed from sleeping on the floor at the bottom of the bed, to sleeping on the bed with us. He just needs to now that us humans are not going to hurt him.

Felix is a 3 month old black and white male cat. He is really full of life and very boisterous. He came in as an unwanted pet, the previous owners found him straying on the street. He is a lovely boy but will most certainly need feline companionship.

We would like to rehome him with a young female cat, under about 2 years old so they are still playful, but the younger the better for Felix. He just loves to play and chase the other cats round.

As he’s so boisterous he wouldn’t be suitable for a house where there are children under the age of 10.

Tom is a 6 month old black and white male cat. He came into care as an unwanted pet. He came in with problem eyes and ears but he’s now having treatment for that and he is much better. He is a real cheeky little character and will make a fantastic companion. He would be fine living with other cats.
