Black Jack – 3 year old male Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat
Black Jack, this very handsome boy has come into us with a very poorly eye. As you can see it doesn’t look very nice and the poor boy will be ungoing surgery to remove it very soon so he’ll be one eyed Jack!
A very friendly boy who will be much more comfortable and better looking after the nasty looking eye has gone. He’ll cope perfectly well without it and we only hope it won’t stop this very handsome chap from getting a home. We aren’t sure of his age but think he is around three years old. The kennels can probably advise further when he’s been to the vet for his operation.
*Update*
This poor boy has had his eye removed. He’s clearly much more comfortable and happily enjoying fuss. Sometimes you catch a sore bit but even when he lets out a cry he’s straight back for more love. He’ll look much better when the stitches are out and the fur grows back. A truly wonderful cat. It’s really hard to find homes black cats so this guy is going to have a tough time finding a home having only one eye as well.

Bandit wins the glossiest black cat of the kennel award. He has a really lovely thick and plush coat. He’s around five years old and male.
At the moment he’s finding his new home a little daunting at the moment and isn’t moving far from the sanctuary of his bed however he willingly accepts any fuss offered. Bandit is absolutely gorgeous. He’s a good sized cat and with his sleek glossy coat and stunning eyes we hope this guy will soon find himself a new home.

Tibby is approximately four years old and female. She’s only just arrived and sharing a kennel with three other cats which she isn’t too thrilled about.
Tibby would probably be best rehomed as the only moggy. She’s very affectionate but quite frightened by her new surroundings so expect her to be a little growly until she gets to know you. Once she is no longer scared you’ll have her purring away in no time. Can you give this scared little girl a home?

Susie is a black and white female. We are unsure of her age and think she maybe around three years old. She’s a very pretty girl with stunning very pale green eyes.
Susie wasn’t too fond of being picked up but we weren’t sure if that was because the resident cat was on the roof of the kennel at the time! When her feet were back on the floor she was very affectionate and loving. Susie will make someone a wonderful pet. She has been sharing a kennel with Pebbles another cat in our care and the two have got on together just fine so we anticipate Susie could be rehomed with other cats.
Patch and Misty – 4 year old female Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cats
Patch and Misty are two black and white female cats. We are unsure of their age and estimate them to be around four years old. Both cats have just arrived and are a little nervous.
They have come in as a pair and we would like to rehome them together if possible. Even though both cats were a little timid in their new surroundings they both accepted fuss and enjoy it although a little wary still.

Itzy and Bitzy are two very young male black cats both around nine months old.
One is very playful and outgoing (my biro and ribbon from my diary both disappeared whilst photographing) the second kitten is quite shy and reserved and will benefit from being in a home as soon as possible. Two stunningly handsome boys.

Tabsey is a very frightened female tortishell cat. She just sits in the corner of her kennel looking very scared with eyes the size of saucers. This poor little lass has only just arrived. You want to gather her into your arms, make her feel safe and take her home.
The whole experience of kennels is absolutely terrifying for her and she needs to be in a home as a matter of urgency. We hope she’ll start to relax and settle in time but at the moment she’s a real scaredy cat, bless her. Is anyone out there prepared to give this girl the time and attention she needs and a new home where she’ll feel safe once more?

Bella is a female black and white cat. We are unsure of her age but think she will be around five years old. Bella isn’t a big fan of being picked up at the moment. This maybe as she’s just arrived and is clearly scared by her new surroundings as she’s got huge black eyes.
Bella was very affectionate when fussed in the sanctuary of her kennel though and really enjoyed having her head scratched just below her ears. She’s one of many black and white cats we currently have in our care. These are often overlooked for more unusual colourings. We really hope Bella isn’t overlooked just because of her coat as she’s a lovely friendly girl who will be far more relaxed in her own home.

Big Ben and Gizmo are two HUGE black and white cats we have in our care (kennelled seperately so not a pair). These two fellas are very sturdy and have very similar personalities. They both win the most affectionate cat in the kennel award (they’ll have to share it!) and both love their food.
They aren’t just stocky but are generally tall and very sturdy boys. It you want cats bigger than your neighbours then one of these lads would definitely tick the box. Absolutely smashers the pair of them and total cuddle monsters . . . . unless it’s dinnertime. Aged approximately five years old.

Mini Me and Spot – 9 month old male and female Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cats
Mini Me and Spot are two kittens all in our care aged around nine months old. Mini Me is female and is the smaller one of the pair. (Tippy has since been rehomed)
Both cats are very timid. Tippy being a little bit more adventerous and actively trying to escape from strangers whereas Mini Me just sits very still in her bed with eyes as big as Smarties. Spot their brother is a totally different character.
He’s slightly larger, very confident and very affectionate as well as being purely white with unusual large black spots on his back. A real character who should sell himself very well to any new owners as he has such a lovely personality as well as a ‘stand out from the crowd’ coat. These three cats can all be rehomed seperately or together to suit the new owner.
