Dale
Dale is a short-haired tabby male aged around 1 year old who was rescued by the RSPCA as an injured stray. His right eye was injured and has been treated by vets. He is on medication to complete his recovery. Additionally. Dale has been given FIV/FELV tests which thankfully were negative, neutered, treated for fleas, wormed and given his first vaccination.
Having been outdoors for some time Dale’s coat is quite thick and he is a bit vocal, but settling. His eye is going to take some weeks to heal properly and eyes closed or with just one open, he is obviously not content about not seeing the world around him as he would like.

Hitler
Hitler is a black and white male aged 3 years old who was reported to the RSPCA as an injured stray and recovered by an inspector to the care of a local vet where he has been for nearly two weeks. His had a nasty bite on his back and needed stitches, antibiotics and prolonged observation. He is with a branch fosterer in Congleton.
He has been treated for fleas, wormed, had FIV/FELV blood tests (negative) and had 1st vaccination. Neutered, this puss loves laps and being made a fuss of! Great appetite, just loves food. Bit wary of folks at first but that quickly changes. Very good around fosterer’s toddler.

Beans
Beans is a black and white male aged around 1 year old who was rescued by a concerned member of the public, Beans had an injured tail which that person had treated at the vets as she planned to keep him, if not claimed.
That was some months ago. Unfortunately, he is not madly keen on other cats and so despite trying for some time, Beans’ new owner decided he could not keep him without upsetting her own moggies. She turned to the branch for help, having tried to be a good Samaritan!
Beans is actually very good with humans and likes playing games with children. We think he must be the only pet in any new home.
Beans is moving to a foster home in Buxton this weekend (13/14 October). If you think Beans might be the new pet for you, call today.

Bobby
Bobby is a white and black male aged approximately 4 years old. Bobby came to us from the RSPCA North Staffordshire Branch to help ease their cats in care numbers. Except for a couple of black body patches and an all black tail, he is a white cat - very striking!
Vets have had to remove virtually all of one ear and half the other because of a past disease. He was found on a building
site in need of care and attention. He seems a little timid at first but once he knows you are interested in him and he’s likely to get a tickle or stroke, he incredibly affectionate. Will make a lovely companion to a new owner. Have no record of his actions around children or pets in the home.

Tia
Tia is a 4 year old black (with ginger) female, she was abandoned with her mum, dad and kittens in Bollington after their
owner left, leaving them outdoors. When the RSPCA stepped in to take them in to care, the kittens were so poorly
that vets had to put them to sleep.
Tia seems a friendly cat. Her unusual colourings make her very different to look at!! She enjoys a cuddle. As her fosterer gets to know more about her, we will update this description. Tia is micro-chipped has been treated for fleas, spayed and will be vaccinated in the next few days. She should also be wormed.

Mango
Mango is a black and white female spayed aged between 1 1/2 - 2 years old. She was found in Congleton in a very, very
poor condition Mango has ended up with the branch following treatment by local vets which has included a thorough
checkover, worming and flea treatment and dietary assessments and feeding recommendations.
We still need more time to (a) evaluate her and (b) to build her up with an effective and balanced diet.

Simon
Simon is a black short-haired male aged around 7 years old.Simon has used up one of his nine lives! Found at the roadside in Buxton, he was taken to a local vet who had to remove his front right leg which was severely crushed.
Now a few weeks on, Simon is being looked after for the moment by a volunteer having been picked up from the vet on 9 July. He seems to be coping with only having three legs and is eating well and showing great interest in investigating his new location. He is affectionate and enjoys a tummy rub and stroking generally.
We hope that we can find someone who can give this very lucky puss a second chance and a new comfortable home, plus a little extra attention. He will be chipped shortly, he is neutered, vaccinated and has had his teeth cleaned.

Nero and Diva
Nero is a black/brown short haired neutered male aged 9 months old and Diva is a black and white semi-long haired spayed female aged 2 1/2 years old.
Nero is a healthy animal wormed and treated against fleas. He is happy inside and outdoors and just adores being groomed and cuddled, giving lots of affection in return! He likes, as most young cats do, to play games and seems fine with children. He really enjoys his food, moving toys around and does not seem at all bothered by dogs when he comes across one, though he has not lived with one.
Diva is a cat with its own real personality! Diva is just that, a diva puss who wants the world to know just how good she is. Some would say she’s a ‘bit cocky’, for though she enjoys handling and attention, it’s entirely on her terms and she can be temperamental when it suits. Dogs do not seem a problem in that being a furry diva, they seem in awe of this puss.
She really enjoys all her meals and as a treat she’ll see that ham sandwiches go down well. Diva is very keen on finding the most comfortable part of her owner’s duvet for quite rest.
Diva & Nero have been together since they came to us and, ideally we would like them to go to one new home together. Both will certainly make someone delightful new companions.

Lizzy, Licorice, Lindburg, Libby and Lilly
Lizzy is a black and white female aged around 2 years old. Lizzy was taken to a Buxton vet at the end of July and after nobody had claimed her, she was taken on by the branch.
She recently gave birth to a varied coloured batch of five kittens - see details given under. Both mother and her kittens are now ready to rehome, however, anyone wishing to put a marker against any of these animals should email or call the branch.

Addie
Addie is a tortoiseshell female aged under 2 years old. Addie was rescued with 3 kittens who were at risk on a building site in Wilmslow when branch volunteers were called to the rescue.
She is very friendly, not timid and loves attention. She’s not bad at her food either having swopped a mouse for tastier morsels! She has been spayed, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and micro-chipped.
