Betsy is a ginger female who came into the shelter in August when her owner had too many cats, she is a very nervous girl who needs a quiet home where she has time to learn how to trust you. She can live with children aged 10 years +, she can be rehomed with cats, but not dogs.
Jess
Jess is 9 year old tortoiseshell female who came into the shelter in July. Poor Jess hasn’t had the best life so far and is now looking for a home to spend her retirement years - although Jess acts anything but senior!
She absolutely loves to act like a kitten and fly around her kennel after a ball. She can be very friendly but is a typical tortie and will let you know when she had had enough - and can be quite feisty! Jess needs to be rehomed to an area with a low cat population. She can live with children aged 10 years + and would be best suited as the only pet.

Sooty is 5 years old and came into the shelter in December 2006 when her owners were moving to no pet accommodation. She is a friendly and affectionate girl who has mischief in her eyes! She gets very wound up by other cats so her true nature will not reappear until she is in her new home.
Unfortunately, she was hit by a car when she was a kitten and now has a plate in her pelvis. The vet has advised that this may cause arthritis in later life. Due to the extensive treatment of her previous injuries, she can be aggressive if scruffed or man-handled! We would prefer to rehome her in an adult only household as the only pet.
