Amelia – 9 month old female Black and White and Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Amelia is only 9 months old. She and her 2 kittens were found by a man who had been walking his dog. He came upon a box hidden on a remote path behind some bushes, the box was completely sealed with duct tape. Who ever did this made sure there was no escape. Amelia had bitten and clawed at the box to save her kittens and herself, she managed to make a hole.

When she came to us she was a terrified little girl, she is still shy with strangers, but when she gets to know you she is the most loving, beautiful and affectionate cat.

She is looking for a quiet home, she likes older children but she is not keen on other cats.

Could you be the one to give this special girl a home.

Primrose – 2 year old female Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Primrose is about 2 years old and friendly but can be a little feisty so probably best in a home without young children.

For further details regarding cats available for adoption from RSPCA Cambridge and District branch (reg charity no 205098), please telephone 01638 508316 or email rspcacambridge@aol.com . Older cats always find it harder to find loving new homes to end their days in and so we have set up a "Pension Plan" where, if someone wishes to take an older animal, we're able offer assistance towards vet bills. Please don't overlook our golden oldies as they can make lovely pets. Visit our Website

Marmalade – 13 year old male Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Hi my name is Marmalade. I am 13 years old but please don’t stop reading because of my age. I am handsome, and I am very friendly. I like nothing better then laying in the sun or on a bed relaxing. I do like to chat, especially at food time!

I like children, I have lived in a family environment so am used to having children around. Could you be my new family please?

Love, Marmalade

Harry and Larry – 1 year old male Ginger and Black Domestic Short-Haired Cats

Harry and Larry – These two stunning cats came in from one house (along with four young black males also in our care). They are all around a year old and a really attractive bunch.

Larry is a gorgeous, glossy, black boy who is currently very scared and just wants to hide in his bed with eyes as large as buttons. Harry is a ginger classic tabby.

The only way you can tell them apart is the more confident boy has green eyes, the slightly shy boy has yellow eyes and the very nervous boy has the most amazing amber coloured eyes which are quite unusual for a ginger cat. There is no hint of a growl from any of the scared moggies.

They are all very beautiful young male cats and could be rehomed together, in pairs or on their own. We are confident due to their age they’ll fit very easily into most homes and just hope the black boy isn’t overlooked as the more unusual coloured ginger tabbies are likely to be rehomed quickly without him.

Curtis – 2 year old male Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Curtis is a 2 year old ginger male cat, who was abandoned when his owner moved. As a result, Curtis was very nervous when he first came in and although he has improved, he is looking for an understanding home that will give him the time to build-up his confidence. Curtis is neutered and he has had a full health check, including blood tests. Curtis is being cared for in Watford.

Bubble and Hubble – 3 month old male and female Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cats

Hello we are Bubble and Hubble who are brother ans sister who are 3 months old. We are very special kittens! We were born blind but that doesn’t stop us playing like any other kittens as our other senses are stronger! We do not let blindness hold us back and we love to play, we know where the food bowl is and our litter tray! Hubble is having real troubles with his eyes so he is going to have an operation to remove them, this sounds extreme but they cause him discomfort so he will then feel a lot better.

We are both such fun and we have been playing with the other kittens here and it is such fun! As we cannot see we really need an indoor only home where objects are not moved around too much as we find our way by remembering where things are. As we require an indoor home we would suit somebody who lives in a flat and is looking for kittens. If you are interested in offering us a home when we are ready please contact the cat team about us for further information and updates.
