]]> Scamps is a 6 month old tabby and white male. Scamps came in to the rescue with his brother and sister as they had been abandoned in a house, he was very nervous and under weight when he came in. Scamps is independent and adventurous. he enjoys being stroked and loves the outdoors but doesnt go far and comes back every time. he is getting better at being picked up but still needs some work. he loves his food. he can be vocal at times and he gets on well with dogs.

]]> Meet our lovely Chloe and Tin Tin given up because of a house move – these are very lovely sensitive cats they are only babies of 10 months old. A very quiet would be best with no young children because of the noise – quiet home to bring them out of their shells. They do not take long to come round but are obviously feeling a little big overwhelmed.

]]> Billy, Bob, Betty and Bitty are four fabulous 8 week old female Tabby and White, Tabby and Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cats. These four lovely kittens who were born outside are still a little nervous so would be better in quiet homes with patient adults. We would like to rehome these kittens as pairs as they play beautifully together and will seek comfort from each other when their new owners are not there.

Their young feral mother, seen on the left underneath her tabby kitten, has now been spayed and released and is enjoying the freedom of the fosterer’s garden. Brown tabby boy, tabby and white boy, black girl, tabby and white girl.

]]> A vet nurse noticed Graham, who is about 10 months old, hanging, around her property. She tried to find his owner, but had no luck. Recently Graham was limping and had hurt a paw so he came into Anim-Mates. Graham’s injury is healing nicely.

He was very sweet with his finder and the vet who treated him. Graham is feeling stressed being surrounded by so many cats in our care; we hope he will settle as he becomes used to his surroundings. Graham needs to go to a home with no other cats. Graham is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated

]]> Lillybell is a very lovely sweet natured little girls who was born outside last June. Lillybell is housed with a smaller kitten called Sunny. Both of these kittens are shy, but they don’t have a nasty bone in their bodies.
Sunny was an unsocialised kitten of 9 weeks old when he arrived. This little guy cuddles up with Lillybell and will be homed with her as a pair.

Lillybell and Sunny both like affection but need a patient owner that understands that they need to bloom in their own time.

]]> Barbara is a stunningly beautiful 1 year old tabby cat and white cat. She came into care as the people caring for her did not want to keep her on any longer. She found them as a stray so we don’t know much of her history other than the basics. What we do know about Barbara is that she is a fantastic cat who is friendly with people, cats and dogs.

*Update from foster family*

We have only had Barbara a few weeks but from her first day she settled right in with no problems. She gets on well with our cats and is not afraid to put the dog in her place if she thinks she needs to, but they do get on well. Barbara is very good at communicating when she wants something and will let you know exactly what it is she wants. She certainly loves her food (and the dog’s when the dog has chicken or mince!) and again will let you know when she wants feeding. She likes to sit on the windowsill and see what’s going on outside and also likes to sunbathe. Barbara only has one problem and that is she does not like travelling and often loses her dinner on any vets trips. However this does not seem to bother her in the slightest as when you get home she is keen to fill her tummy again. When it comes to fuss Barbara rarely comes to you but if you go to her and give her a fuss she enjoys it and may even talk to you.

Barbara is a versatile cat and can be rehomed into most family environments. She is getting very attached to her house mate Bob whose details you can also see on here. they would make a lovely pair if someone is looking to take two cats on to keep each other company.

]]> Willow is a very beautiful tabby and white short haired female, who is 11 years old. She came into the centre as a stray so we have no information on her history. She is a very sociable cat and enjoys the company of people. Willow would not like to live with dogs or cats, would prefer to be the only pet in your household but would be fine with neighbourhood cats. Willow does enjoy sitting outside in the fresh air during the day so she would appreciate a nice garden with quiet surroundings to spend her retirement years.
