Max Clara Cleo and Chloe – 5 month old male and female Black and Tabby Domestic Short-Haired Cats

Max, Clara, Cleo and Chloe are 5 month old kittens who came into our care as feral kittens terrified of the real world. Over the last 3 months in foster care all four of them have learned that people aren’t the worst thing ever but they still err on the side of caution. The progress they have made is truly outstanding and in the right forever home there is no reason to think they wouldn’t continue to grow in confidence. They all are quite content to potter round the house, play with toys, chase each other round, climb curtains and do everything a normal kitten would do but don’t like loud noises or sudden movements towards them.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
This cat has now found a new home. There are more cats still looking though! Register for our cat adoption matchmaker service & we’ll send you a hand picked selection of newly adoptable cats:

They would be best suited in a home with no young or loud children and an understanding family who are happy to be patient and give them the time they need to settle in and find their paws. They all absolutely adore the resident cats in their foster home and would be well suited to be rehomed to a house with current furry residents. Ideally the kittens would be rehomed in pairs with one of Max & Clara (the more confident ones) going with one of Cleo & Chloe (the shy girls). The confidence, that Max & Clara have, would help Cleo & Chloe come out of their shells in their forever homes as they really look up to them to see whether they should go out and explore.

Clara is the most confident of the bunch and the only one who will let her foster daddy pick her up for cuddles and kisses. She is the first in line at meal times and will even take dreamies straight from your hand. Like her siblings she enjoys running round with toys, playing with pieces of stray litter and climbing anything she can! She has an infectious purr and for the most part is happy when you stroke her too.

Max is the tabby boy who is very confident in himself but a little less sure around people. He is a cheeky boy who knows exactly what he is doing when he is being naughty!! Max will tolerate a gentle stroke but isn’t keen on being picked up. Max’s progress has been heart warming to see, he always used to hiss and spit at his foster daddy but that only comes after loud noises or if he is startled. He is regularly found on the bed having a snooze or chasing one of his sisters early in the morning!

Cleo is a pretty all black girl who takes in confidence from Clara & Max. She loves snuggling up with them both (and Chloe) at night and will always watch them from a distance to know what they are doing is safe. She too loves the older cats in the foster home and can often be found having a snooze with them and always lets them give her a clean too! Cleo would benefit with a quiet home and an understanding family where she can grow in confidence. You can tell she is very curious and loves exploring but just needs a bit more of a confidence boost to go and do some of the things Clara & Max take for granted.

While Chloe is the shy girl of the bunch she is a beautiful fluffy sweetie. She is the first to scurry away but despite that she rarely does this anymore. Instead she tends to retreat to a safe distance and then moves forward when she is content. Chloe adores her more confident siblings and is always checking for reassurance from them. Being a fluffy girl she will eventually need a bit more grooming than her siblings but only once she has settled into her forever home! Chloe can still be quite the character and is routinely found causing chaos at 6am running round with her siblings! While she is the shy girl still her progress has been just as impressive as her siblings and she continues to improve each day.
