Sherry – 12 year old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Thought no fault of her own this lovely old lady has come into rescue she is 12 years old and we are keeping everything crossed someone will fall in love with her please as its no place for an old cat… Her owner who is unable to keep her has written the following..

“When I discovered Sherry a couple of years ago she was a large bundle of black fur with the most enchanting green eyes – she had been living for many years with an old lady who subsequently passed away – I fear Sherry used her eyes to great effect with her previous owner to get fed! Over the last couple of years Sherry has managed to drop a good couple of kilos and is no longer beach ball, more rugby ball! She’s not a lap cat but she’s very affectionate and likes to be in the same room as you, she will sit on the sofa with you and purr like a mad thing when tickled under the chin and loves having her ears rubbed. She will often sit with her back to you, she’s a little moody but she’s an old girl and really just wants to sit around a lot and sleep!

Sherry’s always pleased to see you when you get home from a hard day’s work and there’s never any problem with litter trays or unexpected ‘presents’ – she’s perfectly house trained! Sherry doesn’t like the outdoors much, she’s not terribly energetic and is happy to mooch around at home – she likes radiators and fires and is happiest chilling out and purring. Sherry probably shouldn’t be placed in a household with dogs or children – she can be a little nervy around loud noises”

Sky – 10 year old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Hi there. I am Sky, a female aged 10 years. I like affection on my terms and although I like being stroked I prefer not to be picked up as I don’t like the feeling of being restricted. I am a confident lady and could live with other cats and probably with dogs but no children.

Abbi – 5 year old female Balck Domestic Short-Haired Cat

The name is Abbi and I am 5 years old. I would enjoy a new home in the countryside as I am used to living in a rural setting and love to be out and about. I don’t need lots of fussing and I am sensitive around the tail and back end. I need to be the only pet and could live with children aged 16 and older.

Missy – 5 year old female Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

I am Missy, I’m a 5 year old female. I’d love a new owner who would give me lots of attention and let me sit on their lap, I’ve even been known to give people a lick if I’m in a very good mood. I’m not keen on change so my new would need to understand this. I cannot live with children or other pets.

Millie – 13 year old female Tabby Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Millie is a tabby female aged 13 years old who has been at Willow Farm since we opened in June 2008, which is a real shame. She had a very troubled past, and got upset and frightened easily if she thought someone was going to hurt her.  Millie is now becoming much calmer, and once she trusts you she can be quiet and content, and even friendly and affectionate at times. Millie cannot cope with the unpredictable behaviour or attention of children or other cats or pets, but someone who understands her, and can give Millie her own space when she needs it, would be her dream come true – are you that person?

Mate – 7 year old male Ginger Domsetic Long-Haired Cat

My name is Mate, I’m am a beautiful long-haired ginger male cat, whose approx 7 years old.

mate

Sadly my owner is very ill and so I now need rehoming as soon as possible. I am looking for a peaceful, loving home, preferably without children or other pets and away from main roads.  I was originally a rescue cat so i will be timid and nervous at first, but will reward patience and reassurance by relaxing and showing my true nature as I am extremely affectionate, chatty and loyal. In a quiet environment and given lots of attention and affection, Mate will be a joy to be with and a sensitive, loving companion.

Diddy – 12 year old male Domestic Short-Haired Black and White Cat

Poor Diddy is a 12 year old black and white female who came to us after his owner sadly died. He is not wild about living at The Moggery, but is slowly coming round, unfortunately we don’t think he had ever come into contact with another cat before and we are keen to see him offered a new start.

diddy

Diddy is not a spring chicken, however he is a gentle giant. He was christened “Diddy” due to his short legs and stocky body?! A home with an older couple/person would be ideal, where a home where is the only cat in residence. He is a delightful old gentleman.

Rushka – 4 year old female Domestic Long-Haired Cream Cat

Poor Rushka is a 4 year old cream cat, who with her cat co-habitant, was abandoned by their previous owner when they moved house. The new occupant decided to keep one cat, but dismissed Rushka because of her matted coat! She has since been shaved and her luxurious coat is growing back beautifully.

rushka

Rushka is a little grumpy, but enjoys affection (if occasionally on her terms) and human conversation?! Unfortunately she does not enjoy the company of other cats and I think she is fed up living with her inmates and longs to be the only cat in residence. A home that has young children or other pets would sadly not be suitable, her new family must be prepared to groom her on a daily basis. A stunner!
