Maddie – 4 year old female Tortoiseshell Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Maddie is a 4 year old female, domestic short hair tortoise shell. Maddie came in to us as her owners said that she was aggressive and a horrible cat, he wanted to put her down but the vet’s convinced him to hand her over to the rescue.

Since Maddie has been with us she has been quite reserved, but certainly not aggressive she will let you stroke her and pick her up, but she is not a cuddle monster and very much in to affection on her terms, I feel her previous owners were inexperienced and forced themselves upon her causing her to feel trapped and panic, it is the only way that we can explain the behaviour that they experienced, because we have just not seen it.

Maddie is fully vaccinated, micro chipped and spayed, we feel she needs a home with no children, dogs or other cats and a person that can give her the time to trust you and who wants a cat that is quite independent but enjoys affection from time to time. If you feel you could offer Maddie her forever home feel free to contact Sarah or Ross on 02380 893188 or e-mail info@allanimalrescue.co.uk

Treacle – 12 month old male Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Treacle is a lovely young cat who is our longest resident now! He was signed over in April. Treacle is a quiet cat who will need a quiet home without other pets or children. He is a little timid until he gets to know you, but is friendly and loves to play with wiggly toys and enjoys being groomed. He would enjoy a quiet home with a garden to explore, away from busy roads.

Treacle has been overlooked because of the time of year as there are lots of more appealing kittens about. We would love him him to find a home soon. He has never scratched our cat cuddlers or shown any aggression.

Please contact the re-homing above if you would like to meet Treacle.

Brian and Sweetie – 9 month old male Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Brian and Sweetie were born in August/September 2009. Usually we rehome kittens in pairs. However due to Brian and Sweetie not being socialised in their early days they are still a little timid. Because of this, and for their benefit, we will let them be rehomed singly or, if you have the time and patience, as a pair.

Brian

If you want to adopt only one kitten it would be good for there to be a cat already in your home.

Sweetie

As it may take some time to bring them round, Brian and Sweetie need lovely, patient homes. They are not suitable to be homed where there are children. The kittens they have started their vaccinations and have been neutered and microchipped.

Lillybell and Sunny – 9 month old females Black and White and Tabby and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Lillybell is a very lovely sweet natured little girls who was born outside last June. Lillybell is housed with a smaller kitten called Sunny. Both of these kittens are shy, but they don’t have a nasty bone in their bodies.
Sunny was an unsocialised kitten of 9 weeks old when he arrived. This little guy cuddles up with Lillybell and will be homed with her as a pair.

Lillybell and Sunny both like affection but need a patient owner that understands that they need to bloom in their own time.

Lillybell and Sunny need a quiet home with no children. Are you able to give the love and time to these adorable kittens that need a cosy home for life?

Sky – 10 year old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Hi there. I am Sky, a female aged 10 years. I like affection on my terms and although I like being stroked I prefer not to be picked up as I don’t like the feeling of being restricted. I am a confident lady and could live with other cats and probably with dogs but no children.

Millie – 13 year old female Tabby Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Millie is a tabby female aged 13 years old who has been at Willow Farm since we opened in June 2008, which is a real shame. She had a very troubled past, and got upset and frightened easily if she thought someone was going to hurt her.  Millie is now becoming much calmer, and once she trusts you she can be quiet and content, and even friendly and affectionate at times. Millie cannot cope with the unpredictable behaviour or attention of children or other cats or pets, but someone who understands her, and can give Millie her own space when she needs it, would be her dream come true – are you that person?
