Domino – male Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

This really affectionate young cat sustained injuries after being hit by a car. He has had an operation to have his leg pinned and should make a full recovery. Sadly he has tested positive for FIV (although showing no symptoms) so he needs to go to an indoor home where he wont mix with FIV negative cats. He is very soppy and likely to be fine with children and cat friendly dogs.

Because of his complications the branch can offer assistance towards future vet bills.

For further details regarding cats available for adoption from RSPCA Cambridge and District branch (reg charity no 205098), please telephone 01638 508316 or email rspcacambridge@aol.com . Older cats always find it harder to find loving new homes to end their days in and so we have set up a "Pension Plan" where, if someone wishes to take an older animal, we're able offer assistance towards vet bills. Please don't overlook our golden oldies as they can make lovely pets. Visit our Website

Abbey – 8 year old female Ginger and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Meet our lovely Abbey, she is 8 years old and looking for a new home. Her mummy has lost her home and the new accommodation did not accept animals – So poor Abbey and her pal Candy the dog have found themselves looking for new homes.

Abbey is a lovely cat, friendly and confused as to why she has to stay in a cage and could not come out with me – very sad going to make somebody a lovely friend. Hope it does not take too long – she is used to living with children and dogs.

Max – 4 year old male Tabby Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Hi there! I am Max and I am 4 years old. Unfortunately my previous owner had to move and couldn’t take me along so I have come here to look for a new home. You will find me a friendly chap and I shall even sit on your lap if I get the chance. I can live with children but I’m not sure about other pets so perhaps someone will love me all on my lonesome!

Felix – 9 month old male Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

My name is Felix the Second and I am 9 months old. I am a little timid but once I get to know you I am very friendly and affectionate. My previous owner was moving to ‘no pet accommodation’ so I would love a home where I can settle and would love a garden to explore. I can live with children and other animals.

Mitzey – 11 year old female Tortoiseshell and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Mitzey is a 11 year old female Tortoiseshell and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat. Mitzey arrived at the Centre as her previous owner could no longer look after her. Taz – 11 year old male Tabby and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

I’m Taz and I am a 11 years old. I am a very friendly chap and I am good with children of all ages so living with a family wouldn’t bother me. I don’t mind other cats but I wouldn’t like to live with a dog. Too scary! I love going outside although I only stay in the local area and as I am not used to lots of traffic I think a quiet area would suit me better.

Milly – 1 1/2 year old female Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Milly has come from a home with one adult and one child. She may hiss at other cats, it is not known how she behaves with dogs.

Milly is a friendly cat although she prefers any fuss or attention to be on her own terms. Because of this it would be best if she went to a home with children over the age of eight and to an owner who can read her signals and know when she wants to be fussed. Milly could do with losing some weight so would need an owner who can be strict with her diet and encourage her to be active.

Milly is an affectionate cat who has a lot of love to give her new owners and would make a rewarding pet for someone who can give her the love and attention she requires.
