Amy came to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue at the end of January where she had been living under a metal storage container for the previous 4 months.

Luckily for Amy some kind hearted workmen kept an eye on her feeding her tit bits from their ‘piece’ to keep her going. Once we were alerted to her predicament we made arrangements to have Amy brought straight in out of the cold where she would be safe and cared for whilst we tried to find her owner.

Sadly, we were never able to trace an owner for Amy so she is now looking for her new forever home!

We estimate Amy to be approx 7-8 years old and she is the most loving, affectionate, sweet little girl. In good overall health and having just had her teeth cleaned she is fit and ready to take on her new life and role as chief cuddler!

When she first arrived all covered in mud, hungry and looking for somewhere warm to rest she slept for the first few days only waking to eat and then straight back to the comforts of her den.

As time has gone on Amy has shown herself to be a gentle, sweet little girl who loves nothing more than to curl up in your lap for lots of pets and cuddles.

She takes great interest in all that goes on around her and loves to play and have your undivided attention.

Amy would make the perfect companion cat and would be suited to either an indoor or indoor / outdoor home although in honesty may prefer the indoors as she very much like’s her comforts these days.

Amy would like a home with no young children and she may be suited to a home as a companion for an older cat or simply as a companion for her new slaves.

Amy is vaccinated and up to date with wormer and frontline treatments.

Indoor / Outdoor homes will require to be away from very busy roads and consideration given to cat proofing your garden or a cat run is always beneficial to ensure the safety of your new cat. Please ask staff for further details on these matters.
