Billy

Mayhew Animal Home August 9, 2007

Billy is a black and white male aged around 10 years old, but do not be fooled into thinking he is an old man! He is one of the most affectionate cats The Mayhew has ever met. He wants to be in human company as much as possible. He is a real lap cat and goes into a complete trance when he is being cuddled.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

He would suit a home where he will not be left alone too much. He is fine to be homed with confident cats but not with cats that are nervous. He definitely cannot be homed with any dogs as he has displayed aggression towards dogs of all sizes.

He loves to play, particularly with pens when you are trying to write. He also loves catnip and will roll around for ages covering himself in it. He has had urinary problems and has had a cystotomy (bladder surgery to remove small stones). He needs one further operation to remove one more stone. This will be carried out in about a month. After this, he will be as good as new! He will still require a prescription diet and any further problems would be covered by The Home at a very subsidised cost. Further information can be given if you are interested in offering Billy a home. Please don’t let his medical issues put you off. He is totally worth it!

In short, Billy will make an ideal companion. He is extremely loving and will be a fantastic cat for the right home. Please come down to meet him in person!
