Black Jack – 3 year old male Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

RSPCA Lincolnshire East Branch March 25, 2010

Black Jack, this very handsome boy has come into us with a very poorly eye. As you can see it doesn’t look very nice and the poor boy will be ungoing surgery to remove it very soon so he’ll be one eyed Jack!

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

  • Cleo – 6 year old female Tortoiseshell Domestic Short-Haired Cat
  • Rainbow – 11 week old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

A very friendly boy who will be much more comfortable and better looking after the nasty looking eye has gone. He’ll cope perfectly well without it and we only hope it won’t stop this very handsome chap from getting a home. We aren’t sure of his age but think he is around three years old. The kennels can probably advise further when he’s been to the vet for his operation.

*Update*

This poor boy has had his eye removed. He’s clearly much more comfortable and happily enjoying fuss. Sometimes you catch a sore bit but even when he lets out a cry he’s straight back for more love. He’ll look much better when the stitches are out and the fur grows back. A truly wonderful cat. It’s really hard to find homes black cats so this guy is going to have a tough time finding a home having only one eye as well.
