Bruce – 2 year old male Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

RSPCA Walsall September 25, 2009

Bruce is a handsome 2 year old Black cat who is looking for his forever home. Bruce is a sad tale. He was found dumped in a cat carrier on one of my rabbit fosterers doorstep. There was no note, just Bruce. He was taken to the vets and checked over. They said he is in good health and estimated him to be about 2 years old. He has been neutered and his vaccines are started and hopefully he will find a forever home soon. Poor Bruce must be very confused about whats happened to him. He seems to be ok with other cats, he is just a bit withdrawn and sad at the moment. We hope a family can come forward to give Bruce what he needs, which at the moment is love and stability.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

We have discovered that Bruce has a real affection for children. At the moment he is avoiding adults but will come out and let children handle him and pick him up and fuss him. We feel Bruce will regain his trust in older people in time, but due to his fondness of children, he needs to be in a home with kids over the age of 5.

*Update from foster family*

In the last few weeks he has really come around. He is still a very dominat cat, but now is very trusting of us, and we can now pick him up and give him a fuss. He has progressed from sleeping on the floor at the bottom of the bed, to sleeping on the bed with us. He just needs to now that us humans are not going to hurt him.
