Egg and Nellie

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home February 25, 2008

Egg and Nellie are two black and white 2 year old siblings who were brought to Battersea as their elderly owner went in to hospital leaving the cats with nobody to care for them, we do not have much history on them as a friend brought the cats in to us.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

Sadly Egg and Nellie are nervous and under-socialised, they are finding cattery life very frightening and confusing taking time to settle and trust people. Slowly with patience they are both coming out of their shells and proving to be sweet cats.

Ideally we are looking for experienced rescue cat owners or people that have owned nervous cats before so will understand exactly what they are going home with. Unfortunately Egg and Nellie cannot live with children or other pets, they need a quiet environment where they will receive the time and attention they need.

Egg and Nellie are used to having access to a garden but due to their nervous natures they did not stay outside for long. It is advisable that they stay indoors longer than your average new cat to allow them plenty of time to settle and bond before going outdoors, new owners must be prepared for this.

If you are looking for a rewarding challenge then this beautiful duo could be for you, to find out more please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443, apply online or email bow.rehomers@dogshome.org.
