Jem – Approx 5 year old female Black Short-Haired Domestic Cat

Jem was originally brought into the care of another cat charity from a lady who had been evicted from her home and was living in the car with her.  She was re homed last November to lovely couple who adored her. One of the owners had been in and out of hospital with chest infections and various problems.  He was recently diagnosed with chronic asthma and an allergy to cats.  He was rushed into hospital due a reaction to Jem and unfortunately she was dropped a vets the same day as it was just to dangerous for the owner. They could not even talk properly on the phone because they were so distraught and never imagined this would have happened. They loved Jem so much and felt terribly guilty considering what she had already been through.  The charity she was originally re homed from had absolutely no space so we offered to take her in and try and find her a loving home for life.

Jem was taken to her foster home the same day she arrived. She is confident cat and settled in within hours.
She stomped about the place as if she had always been there and investigated every nook and cranny.

She loves attention and follows you around the house. She is still very kitten like and loves to play with her toys. She even chases an empty kitchen role holder around.  She would suite most environments as she is calm and confident. She loves being stroked and fussed but does not particularly liked to be picked up which is common in many cats.

she’s very friendly and greets visitors with a mieow, she’s also very active and likes to play alot, her favourite game is playing with straws she loves them.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, micro chipped flead and wormed and just waiting for a new owner to come forward.
