Lucky

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home August 9, 2007

Lucky is a tortoiseshell female aged 3-4 years old. She was brought in to Battersea as her owner worked long hours and often had to go away with work so she made the hard decision to bring Lucky to Battersea. Lucky has lived a quiet and sheltered life up until now, she is finding cattery life very stressful and will need patient and understanding people to take her on.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

Lucky has always been kept as an indoor cat, she therefore has not been exposed to many things and can get anxious or defensive at times. We are looking for experienced cat owners, ideally used to rescue cats, feral cats or fiery natured cats. Tortoiseshell cats can be feisty and Lucky is no exception, she likes to be boss and will let you know when she wants a fuss or not.

Lucky is looking for a quiet home with no other pets or children, she will need time to settle and build a bond before she is allowed access to outside. Lucky is an active cat who seems to enjoy hunting games, we hope once she starts to go outside she will relax and become more of a content cat. Unfortunately she can only live in a quiet location that is not near any busy roads, being an indoor cat in the past she has never been around vehicles.

In her previous home Lucky was described as a independent, social yet anxious cat who did enjoy being stroked on her terms. While in catteries and unsettled you will not see Lucky’s true nature but if you are looking for a loving lapcat then this is not the cat for you. If you feel you can offer this little firecracker a home please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or come in to one of our centres for a registration interview.
