Patch and Muffin – 6 month old male Tortoiseshell Domestic Short-Haired Cats

RSPCA Altrincham Cheshire Branch January 23, 2014

Patch and Muffin are looking for an extra special home, they are two young cats around 6 months who have had a very unsettled start in life. They first came into our care after being abandoned in the countryside and left to fend for themselves. They are lively and affectionate and have been in each others company since birth , so it would be a benefit if they were re homed together. They are great fun to have around and deserve a loving home.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use Cat Adoption UK on a daily basis, this cat has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more cats still looking though…

Patch and Muffin have slightly unusual looking front legs, they both suffer from carpal hyperextenstion, which basically means they have a loss of stability of the ligaments that run down the back of the front legs affecting the carpal joint, causing them to walk flat footed. They have been examined by a vet and although they look unusual they are not in any pain and can run around play and live life as a normal cat. They will however be more susceptible to suffering with arthritis as they get older as there is abnormal pressure on the joints in their front legs but other than that they should be able to lead a normal cat life. Patch and Muffin really do deserve to finally find a home they can call their own, could that be with you??
