Simon is an 18 month old domestic shorthair neutered male cat. Simon is a very affectionate, playful, inquisitive and sociable cat, his previous owner took him in as a stray and they tried with no luck to find who originally owned Simon, “I would love to keep him (he is more my cat than the rest of the family) he gets on really well with our male cat but terribly with our female cat. Although there were initially no problems, he was hit by a car just before Easter (his rear leg was amputated) and ever since then he has fought so severely with her that I now have to ensure they are always separated.

This has become so extreme that he stalks her through windows and doors (even attacking the doors if she is right on the other side) and she wets/messes herself if he has managed to get her. I have a daughter with Autism who often forgets to close the doors so you can imagine it is quite stressful for everyone, especially our female cat.” Despite every effort by the family it was decided that a new home would be best for him, so he came to us.
Simon is indeed allowed to be a cat that comes and goes! He is fantastic with children, not really bothered by cat friendly dogs and a lovely character to have around.
