Bluebell – 5 year old female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Hello, my name is Bluebell and I was born in April 2012. I have come into the centre as I was unwell in my previous home and my carers here at Heaven’s Gate have helped find out what was wrong with me. I can be a little shy at first in new surroundings but once I have settled in, I gain confidence. I prefer the company of humans that are happy to respect my space and let me come over to them for a fuss when I choose. I am fairly independent and would like to live in a quiet household, where I could come and go as I please. A secure garden where I could explore at my leisure would be ideal in a quiet area. I love to play with toys especially dangly feather toys!

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed

Since arriving back at the centre, I have had a few tests conducted and I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in both of my hips. For this, I do require medication to keep me comfortable and pain free. This is something that I will need to be on for the rest of my life, but it is not that expensive, so please do not let this put you off. I have also been prone to urinary tract infections in the past, so I will need careful monitoring once I am in my new home. I would like to be the only animal in the household and live with adults only.
