Smokey is a 3 year old female with a beautiful smokey grey coat and emerald eyes. She came to the Mayhew because unfortunately, her owner was made homeless. Smokey is very wary of people and as a result can show signs of aggression.

She can be unpredictable and although she does seem curious around humans, this can sometimes turn into fear and she may lash out. She has however, shown great improvement since she’s been with us and can be very affectionate on her own terms. Smokey is going to need a calm environment and a very patient owner who is willing to work with her and help her learn to trust people.
