Hey there! My name is Tigger. I’m seven years old, but don’t let that fool you I still got lots of bounce in me. I stayed with my last humans from when I was very little, until just now. Then they wanted rid of me and I don’t know why because I always tried to be the best I could be for them. I’ll manage purrrfectly well without them (so long as you give me lots of lovely fresh chicken and rabbit) – oh come on, can’t blame a guy for tryingJ Actually I like Whiskas chicken quite a lot too. Oh, and not forgetting biscuits, they’re great for snacking on, and I like to snack quite a lot.
I used to live outside most of the time, but lately I like to be able to stay at home just as much, preferably in my soft comfy bed near somewhere warm or a lap, I can do lap naps a lot. I do like to venture out to check out my territory though, but don’t worry, I’ll let you know when I want to go out and when you call me, I know my name, so I’ll come right back to you (especially if you shake a bag of biscuits).
Nowadays I’m more of a lover than a fighter. I love humans who want to cuddle with me (I can do that for hours), I love being gently brushed, I love playing with toys and a red dotty thing that zooms all over the floor (my human calls it a laser light) and love when you play along with me, I love a comfy cushion and I really love cat naps especially if there’s a patch of sunshine to chill out in or a radiator with a nest for me to snooze on, oh, and gentle massages, well they’re a new thing for me, but wow, I mean WOW! My new human says that I’ve got the cat equivalent to a Louie Armstrong voice when I speak, well, I don’t know what a Louie Armstrong is but I do know I got soul!
Anyway, my difficulties are all behind me now. I’m getting back to looking like the rather distinguished cool cat that I always used to be, so, if you are looking for a lover, not a fighter, come on over and check me out (and I’ll do the same with you) J
